Skyrim Ring Of Magicka Regeneration

  1. Skyrim Regenerate Magicka Potion

Aug 08, 2012  Elder Scrolls and Fallout community: character builds, lore, discussions and more. The Apprentice The apprentice is a young mage born in the month of Sun’s Height. Because of this, the apprentice has a far stronger link to Aetherius than most. This allows the apprentice to draw magicka directly from Aetherius to refill their magicka re. Two magicka regen rings look at the screenshots to find them, the screenshot shows 1 but there is actually 2 rings. By the way these rings give you 4000% magicka regen OP I. Nov 21, 2011  Page 1 of 2 - Regenerate Magicka while casting? - posted in General Skyrim Discussion: Previously, when I was casting say chain-lighting, my magicka did not regenerate until after I released the spell. Now, my magicka regeneration kicks in the moment I spend the magicka, even if I hold the spell in my hand ready to be shot. Is this a bug, or what did I do to enable this ability?

I am the only Dovahkiin in Skyrim (at least until Dragonborn DLC) and also a badass level 100 Destruction and Enchantment skill magi.

Recently I've managed to reach level 100 in Smithing skill and created my first light dragon armor. I'm currently wearing Master Robes of Destruction (Magicka regen +150%, Destruction spell use 22% less magicka) and this makes any destruction spell costs NO magicka at all (of course plus enchantments on ring, amulet, circlet etc). The problem is I tried to enchant my light dragon armor with Fortify Health and also Fortify Destruction and Magicka Regen (since I can enchant 2 enchantments in one item) but the result is not as satisfied as I wanted.

At the moment the maximum I can get is about 17% for fortify destr. and only mere 10% for fortify magicka (with enchantment potion). So I have 2 questions:

1.What is the percentage of maximum effect of an enchantment on an armor? This question is not relevant anymore

  1. Does magnitude of enchantment differs depending on the item? (i.e. boots, clothes, heavy/light armor etc)

  2. With every enchanting boost available in Skyrim, it is possible for me to make a light dragon armor with Fortify Destruction and Magicka Regen with at least 25% magicka reduction and 50% magicka regen?

Why other caste girl cant marry brahmin boy. Note: Legal methods only please. That means no mods, multi-potions boosting cheat (one potion is OK) and console commands.

PS:

  • Fortify Destruction and Magicka Regen enchantment is considered as ONE enchantment.
  • If anyone wondering how the hell I can cast destruction spell without using magicka, just buff up your items with Fortify Destruction enchantment until the total reduction of Magicka cost for Destruction spells become above 100%.

Wuld Nah Kest! (Runs away)

EDIT: Revised my questions and added some details.

I'm having a little trouble determining exactly what your problem is, but I will hit your list:

  1. I believe without exploiting potions and recursion stat boosting, the maximum percentage of magic reduction on a single enchantment is 25%. This is with 100 Enchant, 5/5 enchant stat, and the various corresponding element/weapon perks.
  2. Magnitude is not affected by armor type.
  3. You should be able to smith and enchant Dragon Scale Armor with 100% Destruction magicka reduction(free cast). Additionally, with the extra enchant perk, you could boost other school's cast regen, or eliminate it completely.

Remember you get the maximum enchantment power when using Grand or Black soul gems.

The 'Fortify [school] and magicka regen' is bugged only the Fortify [school] part goes up and its weaker than normal fortify .. Enchant so you can create fortify hp 62 , fortify destruction 17%(or 22% not sure) + fortify magicka regen 10% (this never changes) or simply create armor with 25 % fortify destruction and 62 hp but you have higher armor rating so it's worth it, and if you can hit armor cap just with gloves and boots (576 ap 80% physical reduction) you can wear master robes.

Black soul gems are the best to use better even than grand to do what you want. You need to go up the middle of the enchanting tree, have the bottom perk filled, you need any potion and you get 25% reduction to destruction, illusion etc., and if you fortify magic you get about 60-65 magic regen. That's about the same that is double enchanting, no potions with black soul gems or black star of asura.

PS. You might have to use the potion enchantment thing; where you make a potion of enhance enchant, which you can in alchemy, then wear them. Then make another potion and repeat until it stops going up.

Base value for enchanting destruction is 8 points so u can get 25% reduction with all the perks, but the destruction base value for destruction & mag. regen is 5 points and magicka does not change, so it will always be 10%, that's why u get only 17% reduction. You can get higher % reduction using potions to fortify enchanting but magicka regen will continue to be 10%. The only way to change that is using mods.

From this guide: Mage Guide

It seems the best way is to reduce the spell cost, rather than increase the regeneration rate.

Copied from the guide:

Now for the unlimited mana..

  1. Find an item that 'reduces the mana cost of destruction spells.
  2. Disenchant to learn the 'Fortify destruction' spell.
  3. Get your enchanting skill up into the 40+ range.
  4. Get enchanting perks that make it 20/40/60/80/100 more effective.
  5. Get the 'insightful' 'corpus' and 'extra effect' perks as you can.
  6. Get your hands on 3 Grand soul gems with Grand souls.
  7. Get your hands on a ring, necklace, and circlet you like.
  8. Apply the 'fortify destruction' enchant to all three, and equip them.

Yes, there are perks for magicka regeneration (see in restoration at least).

There are also items that increase X% of magicka regeneration.

But the higher the cost of the spell you use, the faster magicka depletes. So try to get the cast for half cost perks too, and eventually, reduce cast cost upgrades on your gear.

Unfortunately it seems that magicka regeneration improvements do not affect your in combat regeneration.

Magicka regeneration out of combat is set to give you 3% of your total magicka per second, but while in combat that drops down to 33% of the normal regeneration rate, meaning only 1 percent of your total magicka is regenerated per second. This does not seem to factor in any magicka regeneration gear when in combat.

Over at Skyrim Nexus they have mod files for adjusting your in combat regeneration. Personally I'd just settle for somehow applying your magicka regeneration gear to the in combat regeneration rate, but that doesn't seem to work unfortunately. I'm sure someone will mod it soon.

You can wear the Arch-Mage's robes after completing the quest for Winterhold, you can wear Morokei (both give plus 100% regeneration, Savos Aren's Amulet gives you 50+ magika, the Gaulder Amulet/ 1 of 3 of the Gualder Amulet fragments will give you 30+ magika, a Mage's circlet that Savos Aren will give you in one of the quests you do for the College, random loot and randomly available in shop keepers inventory, and you can also enchant your own things.

Also, all of the god's necklaces will give you boosts to whatever and you can also try getting married because your wedding ring will give you a -12% cost of Restoration spells. These are all the things that I know of.

If you are a high level enchanter, you can create a ring or necklace with a regeneration rate as well. Remember to use fortify enchantment potions. I got mine up to 62%.

Finish the Winterhold quests. The Mask of Moreki and Archmage Robes combined with Savos Aren's Amulet should more than fulfill your magicka regeneration requirements.

It is almost like you don't even need to watch your magicka usage after you have these items. These coupled with the 60 second highborn power will give you too much magicka; there is no way you could even use it all.
